closed. The rink rules state that players may not enter the ice until the
doors are closed. Please be respectful of this and the rink employees.

Coffee Cup (CC) |
Adult mixed level co-ed recreational early bird scrimmages designed for those of you who like to get your morning off to a competitive start!
The Coffee Club will be pre-registered, refereed scrimmages with a 20 player, 2 goalie maximum.
The Season: Games played at Cairns Arena, October 1 through December 17, 2007. Monday mornings from 6-7am..
Season Cost: Full Season: $145 per player. Half Season: $80. Per Session: $15. |
Women's Hockey League (WHL) |
Great hockey for women only! Intended for players with experience playing organized hockey. Competitive recreational games. Minimum age 14. You may join as an individual or as a team. All registrations require full payment at time of sign-up. Team rates available. No checking. Full Slapshot. USA Hockey Women's Rules.
Season Cost: $205 per player signing up as a free agent. Team rate $2665 . Registration closes when capacity is reached.

Instructional Hockey League (IHL)
|
Allows adult hockey players 18 & over to improve their skills through training clinics, chalk talk lectures, and controlled scrimmages as well as play co-ed recreational hockey games with coaches and officials. Two teams, maximum of 15 skaters/team, 1 goalie/team. No checking. Full slapshot. USA Hockey rules. Coaches explain rules throughout the season. Once a week for 8 weeks. Weekly 90 minute session that alternates between clinics and scrimmages.
Season Cost: $215 per player. $35 per goalie. |
Women's Instructional Hockey League (WIHL)

To allow women hockey players 14 & over to improve their skills through
training clinics and controlled scrimmages as well as play recreational hockey
games with coaches and officials. Ideal for adult women with some playing
experience, but with limited coaching. Two teams, maximum 15 skaters/team, 1 goalie/team. No checking. Full slapshot. USA Hockey rules. Coaches will explain rules throughout the session.
The Season: 8 sessions, 90 minutes each - includes clinics, controlled scrimmages and games.
Season Cost: $215 per player. $35 per goalie. |
Division 3 (D3)
|
Perfect hockey for enthusiastic adults! The place to play if you started in the sport as an adult, or if it has been more than a dozen years since you played as a kid. Minimum age 21.
The Season: Games played at both Cairns Arena and Leddy Park Arena on a variety of days. Games are a 3 minute warm-up, with two 25 minute running time periods. Stop time the last two minutes of each period.
Season Cost: $205 per player signing up on a Free Agent team. Team rate $2665 . Registration closes when capacity is reached.

Division 2 (D2) |
Great hockey for recreational competitors. The best place for mid-level adult hockey players age 21 and over. The very few ex-varsity hockey players in this league have definitely passed their ten year reunions! Average age is in the mid-30's.
The Season: Games played at both Cairns Arena and Leddy Park Arena on a variety of days. Games are a 3 minute warm-up, with two 25 minute running time periods. Stop time the last two minutes of each period.

Division 1 (D1) |
A high-end version of our senior leagues. A faster, more aggressive league with a younger average player age. Numerous participants played varsity high school, and few played at the college club level. Not an elite league, but perfect for the serious adult hockey player. Minimum age 21.
The Season: Games played at Cairns Arena and Leddy Park Arena on a variety of days. Games are a 3 minute warm-up, with two 25 minute running time periods. Stop time the last two minutes of each period.
